How Often Should You Deep Clean Your Home?
A weekly clean keeps the basics under control — floors, surfaces, bathrooms. But a handful of jobs build up quietly in the background: skirting boards, inside the oven, behind appliances, window tracks. Left long enough, they turn a routine visit into a much bigger job.
As a rough guide: a full deep clean every three to six months covers most homes comfortably. Kitchens with heavy daily use, or homes with pets, tend to sit at the shorter end of that range.
The easiest way to stay ahead of it is to fold a deep clean into your regular schedule every few visits, rather than waiting until it's overdue and doing it all at once. That's exactly how we structure our regular domestic cleans — ask us to add a deep-clean rotation next time we're round.
